NOTE: When I say format floppy, what I really mean is that I right click on the FDD to TRY and format.
Last night I re-installed Vista. At first, with no software/drivers installed I was able to format a floppy. One by one I installed drivers and software and tried formatting. Everything was going ok until I installed the Razer drivers for my keyboard. At that point, I tried to format a floppy and received the BSOD. After that, I did a system restore to a point right before I installed the Razer drivers. At first I was able to format again. After about the third disk, I received the BSOD again only this time, it happened after I formatted the disk.
I know it's only a floppy drive and truth be told, I could format the disks on another computer. I feel I need to resolve this issue in case I ever need to use it.
At this point I am totally stumped. Why would the BSOD come after I accessed the right click menu of the FDD?
