What do you guys think of this build? - Page 2

I have no idea why you guys are knocking on my psu, I read several reviews in PSU shootouts with a dozen or more PSU's and this one had nearly the cleanest power.

Cleanest power? Who cares if it's 0.01v more accurate than some other PSU, if it's gonna fail in a year, which do you want? The one that will fail, or the one that will heat up your mosfets a little more.

If you want 750w I'd rather get the PC Silencer or Silverstone DA.

Everything looks good, but for overclocking RAM stick to 2 sticks.

The RAM is fine, the P35 and X38 have no problems with 4 sticks of RAM. You don't need a 750w though. A PCP&C 610w or a Corsair 550VX will be more than enough.

Trash the PSU, seriously.

Look at Some of the G.SKILL Ram or Crucial Ballistix.

Also suggestion if getting 4gigs get the 2x2gb kit instead of 4x1gb less strain on ure NB and more overclocking potential.

As Others have said Choose a more reliable PSU. A Corsair or PC power and cooling.

Other Wise not a bad build
I've got to second this guys post about the HyperX RAM. I have it and I wouldn't buy it again.

Id switch the RAM for 2x2GB of something better, or 4x1GB of (you guessed it!) something better. I suggest Ballistix Tracer, best bang for the buck if you ask me, and they overclock well.

-maybe cheaper Mobo (680i?)

-better cas...or at least remember to get a CPU cooler in there. You dont need water and i wouldnt start off with it as its your first build.
