Yes contact your ISP as they can monitor your line. Just tell them that you are getting ALOT more traffic on your line that usual and you cannot be resposible for it as you are not using the connection.

Its normal.. 1 hour and 15 minutes of just browsing websites and look at my packets... ALOT more than just 10x.

Mine also sends and receives packets even when idle.. its normal. Your internet is always on, wether you are using it or not. I'm guessing your not on dial up in this day and age.

EDIT: Roughly 8MB uploaded and 145MB downloaded, over a hour of browsing. You said above that your getting a gig downloaded every day wether or not your on the computer? A gig a day on a idle connection is to much.

some one suggested he is dosing me sending me a extemely lot of pings per second with a script and this is cause it to be so much ?

Erm. No I shouldnt think ping commands would amount to anything mate . If anything I think what you are experiencing is normal and dont get to paranoid about it. If your that worry get your ISP to monitor your line.
