Hello, I am new to this forum but not to OCing. I recently upgraded from my E6600 to a Q9450 and loving it. I actually brought the Q6600 but found out that I had a 680i TR so I RMA'ed it and thought maybe I should just sell it on ebay. I decided to return my Q6600 unopened back to small center and get the Q9450 since they had a $50 gift card that came with it. I am very happy with it as it loads everything super fast now compared with my E6600. I am planning on going with the 790i right before my step-up program ends and hope for DDR3 to go down in prices which is in about 84 days. But yep, very happy I went with the 45nms

4.0Ghz was pretty easy on my E3110. Only 1.33V on a DFI LP DK X38. Getting anything over that is a pain.
