Time to start an Antec p180-182 thread? :)

Thread Starter
With the order of my P182 and the posts I have seen by a few others, it seems there are quite a few people who have the P180+ series cases. They don't seem to be as moddable as the the 690, 900, or the armors, because of the closed design, but I think they are still great cases.

I guess when I get mine in a few days I will know for sure, but just thought I would throw this out there.

P.S. I got my TRUE and Loons today so I am just waiting on the case to redo everything

I got a P180B and am about to fit some WC in/on it. Just waiting for the res + TIM (ETA 1 day). It's a nice case with lot's of room for some 1/2" tubing

And here is a thread on how to add a window:

P182 is my favorite minimalist case (and I only like minimalist cases, I don't like all this Rice-ey Blue LED junk )
My other favorite case is the P190, but, I wish that thing came with no power supplies, I'd be paying for two PSU's that I'd not use at all.

If I had to go a "enthusiast" case, I'd go the new Thermaltake Armour + ESA in Black (I'd disconnect all the LED wires of course

There are heaps of P182 mods around, even in this very forum (air vent mods etc) Try a search.

Right, I wasn't looking for Mod advice, I only meant to start a single thread to house all of the posts by people with these cases, you know like the CM690, Cosmos, and Armor threads?

I don't like all the blue flashy stuff either. My computer sits under my desk and I never see it so I won't be adding a clear side panel because I want the noise reduction of the existing one.

I love my P182. I have one, my grandpa has one, my two friends have one, and my friend's dad has one. It's a good case.

I also go for the minimalist approach. I don't like the windows or all the LEDs. I like the gun metal finish because it adds a bit of looks without being plain black, but it's not gaudy.

It's very well built and easy to work in also. My only complaint is the front door. It's flimsy if you are not careful.

the p180/182 may be less modifyible then the 690 but from stock, it does look better. less work has to be done. it already looks nice. just need to make it nicer

*edit*

gee. why all these clubs pop up after i made the cm 690 club >_> lol

I have the P180, or rather I built it for my wife. Put some Scythe fans in it as well. It was a pain at times, but I like the case had cable management and water cooling in mind. Just don't put any stickers on it as it will look like a fridge.
