So...

Anyone have this board paired up with an E8400 or Xeon E3110.?

I need major help with the options here. I dont even know how to go about touching the ram. Haha. The CPU is hard enough to fiddle with as it is.

HELP PLEASE!

Thanks.

You caught me in the middle of my Post wigseryc... I was about to suggest Geekman look through that thread and post any specific questions there.

@Geekman you might want to check out this thread, lots of pics including the bios... another decent review thread here. I'm thinking I may be a little screwed(bought the LT X48-T2R), these DFI's have a plethora of bios options and tweaks... The Genie Bios is gonna kick my arse .

Is there some sort of a complete BIOS guide for this?! Agh.

Best bet is asking someone in the other thread to write up their most successful settings and posting them here, give you something to work from / aim for..

Well I have the P35 DK, but I think the bios is similar. Go to Genie Bios Setting and fiddle with the following

CPU Clock (FSB) - OC to whatever you wish

Voltage Setting
CPU VID (vcore) - add however much is necessary for stability
DRAM - 2.0 - 2.2v
NB - 1.4 - 1.5

Go back and into DRAM timing and change tCL, tRCD, tRP and tRAS to your RAM's recommended settings (e.g. 5-5-5-15)

Go back and check your DRAM Speed, fiddle with those settings till you find the closest one to your RAM's speed.

Disable all Spread Spectrums

Monitor your temps, and they get too high just lower FSB/voltages.

What else do you need?
