3 displays at the same time with 8800gts?

Thread Starter
Is there any way I can have 3 displays (2 monitors, 1 tv) running at the same time with the video card I have? It would be nice not to have to switch over the display settings when I want to stream a movie to my tv. I've looked all around in the display properties but the only options I get are with 2 displays, so I'm wondering if there is a program that would allow me to do what I want. Thanks!

Not that i know of.. Try and find a super cheapo card to run your telly off of..

Unless there IS a prog or lead that will let you split signal. Or you could get a switch box for 2 of the monitors.. But your best bet is getting another cheapo card i'd say.

Edit - Wait! You might be able to if your card has an s-video port thingy... You'll have to wait for some higher geek to come and help you though, cos a) i've never tinkered with a GTS320 and b) i'm not that good with telly's as displays.

You could buy a splitter which would clone two of the displays.

will have to try third party software but dont think you can.

Usually you will only get screen 1 and screen 2 through video options.

Well, since your card has Dual DVI, you can run two digital connections, or one LCD on each connector. Then use the analog connector to run component cables to a third display.

Only ATI at he moment allows all of the connectors on the card to operate at once. You can only do two screens at once on that card.

Hmmm... My video card does have a s-video type output that goes to component which goes to my tv.

After some searching on the interwebs I haven't found a program that can do what I want. I'll probably end up getting another cheap video card and run the tv off of that.
