PSU for xfire 3870x2s

Hey guys I am planning on getting two 3870x2's and was curious as to whether the PC P&C 750 xfire silencer would be good enough. I am open to suggestions as well. ATI recommends at least 750w and I am just unsure if this is pushing it too close.

Also since I am unsure if I like the red version is this considered the same thing with maybe a new model name now? here

Thanks guys.

The PCP&C Silencer 750 should be fine. With near future upgrade in mind, may go for a 850W PSU such as sliversone DA850. It has 4 x 6Pin, 2 x 8Pin PCIE power connectors.

Great, so with OC in mind do you still think the 750 would hold up? Also just looking for further insight here but I am thinking about getting a cosmos case and it seats the psu at the bottom right, and I do not plan on using water so do you think psu heat might be an issue with the setup?

Yes. 750w should be fine. I put my psu at bottom. It works fine. The cosmos case has very air flow so you should be fine.

Awesome thanks man, now I might be able to get this thing rolling with the x48's out!
