I can't even watch this thread anymore lol

Please rename it to:
"*OFFICIAL*Silly puff happy time lovable cuddly games thread" considering FEAR and Barbie are the only two games getting votes since no one has played anything but those (didn't know we had to many 9 year old girls here on OCN)

hey now, Barbie is some scary $h17..no

but seriously, F.E.A.R was actually decently scary at times, it was a solid thriller. what amazes me is how people vote for BioShock...i really have no idea what is supposed to be scary about that game, i thought it was wicked awesome, but definatly not scary.

the only time i was genuinely scared in that game was when i climbed down that ladder and looked over my left shoulder and the little girl was RIGHT THERE, but other than that it was kinda meh....

I cant wait for Alone in the Dark 2 though, anyone seen the trailers and tech demos for it? they look sick

i know the exact part you are talking about haha, i think. you turn around to go down the ladder, the little girl is right there! then when you get to the bottom, theres a guy to your left! - i jumped so damn high when that happened. at that point, i was sold, i even left the room to go tell my roomate .

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem or howerver it is spelled. What is scarry then a game pretending to shut-off and erase your save? Second scariest, walking into a room full of undefeatable zombies that don't actually exist but can hurt you.

You have a winner right there, I completely forgot about that game. It's great how it would screw with the player.

It's not on the list, but did anyone play Unreal? I mean the first, original Unreal game? The only time any video game has actually made me jump out of my seat was the first encounter with the Skaarj. Here's the scene:

You just crashed on a planet that you know nothing about. So far the only sentient life you have encountered has been the size of a barn and dual-wielded rocket launchers.

You are woefully underequipped to fight anything.

You are in a long hallway and the lights start to go out one by one.

A siren goes off.

Something much faster and meaner than you charges at you with two massive claws.

There were so many great "HOLY SH--!" moments in that game, and it was way ahead of its time, IMO.
