Too low scores for such a highly anticipated game...fail for FF enthusiasts alike.

After completing only 10% of the english version I can say that this game is awesome. Normally I wouldn't touch anything labeled FF with a 10 foot pole but I decided to try this and i'm a100% pleased with this game. Xplay needs to learn how to review games again.

ok I bought the game yesterday.. and have been enjoying the hell out of it sense. the graphics are nothing short of amaising. you would have thought they were a high level PS2 game. the CG looks pretty close to advent children and that is saying somthing. the DMv is a problem for me though. not bad but i wish i could control the slots.. not being in control is kinda urcsome.... the combat. simple as it is. it is still fun....

for a PSP title. this game is great.. i would rank it my top 2 on the system right now..
everything I want in a video game and more....

FFI all the way to FF9 are amazing games, some are the best video games of all times. FFX and FFX2 were failures (at least in my book, some consider FFX to be a great game). FFXI is a good MMORPG too, under appreciated at that. And then FFXII was actually a pretty damn good game.

And you were saying???
WHAT?!?!

FFVII = epic
FFVIII = OK...draw system got a little boring
FFIX = didn't finish it so I'll be quiet
FFX = only FFVII beats it.

But I think it would have been much better if they just kept the turn based system like FF7, or even something like FF12's that kept you at least somewhat engaged in the battle.

Agreed FFX was not a failure everything was sweet from the parts with sin and then the game under water(i really cant remember the name ) and then the Summons in my opinion were sweet. But onto the FF on topic I bought my psp only for this game and i think it was definitely worth it I have been playing it non stop when the story gets boring i head to a save point and start doing missions and vica versa. they have definitely given ALOT of wrong scores on G4 since the list goes as you can see on this list at this
link

the only one with a bad score is X-play and they are no where near reputable in my books to take them in consideration when buying a game

the game wasn't that bad, i mean other than a rush of cinematics for the first 30 mins of gameplay, they should have allowed more fighting areas to try and raise your skills, some parts of the voice acting script is a little cheesy. i'm stuck on the sephiroth level in nibelheim...

I was reading a review in a gamer magazine and one of the reviews went as following (as best as memory serves....

"Through the first hour of gameplay, I absolutely dreaded the game as seeing all it was about was mashing that 1 X button with the L and R shoulders to kill things. But then, I realized enemies were getting smarter and it required more out of me then just mashing that X button after I kept repeatedly dieing. Blah blah blah, game is fantastic." The guy gave either an A or A-. Then it was followed by 2 other reviews that said similar. Lowest it got was an A- I believe from 1/3 guys.

EDIT:
