Sorry to be a killjoy but the TRUE 120 has issues mounting to the DFI Dark motherboards, you'll need to use a Tuniq Tower instead. Don't worry, it's an amazing cooler.

What kind of issues does it have mounting? Is something blocking it?

ya save the money on going to 8gigs of ram and get the 9800GTX or the 8800GTS(G92) at least, either of these eventually in SLI do very well.

Ive found some people who have had trouble with the right most heatsink... but.... I also found this picture
http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z...S/P1060768.jpg
So I am going to stick with the TRUE 120 and if I have a problem, find a way to mod that heatsink or take it off .

I run Patriot RAM and couldn't be happier with it, along with 2 other friends who own Patriot. I have a another friend who killed 2 sets of Ballistix in 2 months on 2 different boards and he doesn't overclock... But yes you don't need 1066RAM or 8gigs of it.
I'd also give the A900 the boot. There are nicer cases for the money if you look around, the A900 has never impressed me.

I decided to go ahead and get the PSU and I will be getting a CM690 instead of the Antec 900 because of better cable management and more expandability with the fans. Also the PSU I have has a bottom intake fan so it should work great with the bottom vent in the CM 690.

Furthermore, after looking at the specs for the RV700 series I am stuck between getting a great graphics card now and getting a low end one then upgrading to HD5870. LMK what you guys think I should do.

Secondly, I know the DFI Dark LanParty P35 overclock amazingly with quad cores, but I am wondering if the DFI Dark LanParty X38 would give me worse or better overclocks. The reason I would want the X38 is so that I can run SLI/Crossfire in the future.

Also, I am still going to wait on which quad core I want to get. I really want to get a 9450, but with how ridiculously cheap the Q6600 are getting (I saw a sale the other day for 180$ Q6600, HALF the price of a Q9450), I may just be forced to go with one of those.

Finally, I have decided to go with Corsair Dominators PC8500 because a. I dont need 8 gb, and b. it has a better cooling solution than both the Patriot Vipers and the OCZ Reapers

So TL;DR again-
I have bought the Corsair PSU
I am going to buy the CM690
Will the DFI Dark Lanparty X38 give me similar or better quad core overclocks like the amazing P35 version?
Should I pass up on the current deals for videocards and wait a little while to see more news on the RV700 series (and the GT200)?

Decided to go to DFI LanParty DK X38 for the extra PCI-E x16 slot. I will probably go crossfire in the future so I am wondering if I should go with a 3870 and then crossfire with another later or with a 4870 (if this is possible, does anyone know?).
Also after reading more into the memory I decided to go with the recommendations for PC2-6400 and bought some very cheap good ram . Also decided to go back down to 500GB to save that 20 bucks .

I would change your motherboard for an XFX n790i ultra sli. Its a pretty nice board. Very much OC options and its kinda stable . Used to need 1.57/1.58 vcore on my P5N32E-SLi board for a 3.8ghz clock with voltmod ( so no vdroop ). with this board Im running 3.8ghz easily at 1.56 vcore ( with a 0.50 vdroop ) so thats 1.49vcore after vdroop. Pretty solid.

edit: nvm you already bought stuff xD
