DRAM Timings Didnt Work

Thread Starter
AMD Athlon Dual Core 4200+ Socket AM2 HTBus is 1000.4 and Bus Link is 200.4Mhz in CPU-Z

I Went to over clock as someone told me

First change the DRAM timings to higher, this will allow you to have a higher multiplier.

I changed the DRAM timings from 333Mhz to 400Mhz and lst option was 533Mhz. I changed i to 400 and saved changes and exited. I went back into bios and tried to change the CPU multiplier - it was still maxxed out at 11x - 2200MHZ.

So i wanna know why cant i change my multiplier to higher setting?
I changed the DRAM timings from 333Mhz to 400Mhz and nothing changed.
Would changing the CPU voltage to 1.350v in BIOS effect the multiplier?

You will only be able to lower your multiplier, not raise it. There are great over clocking guides here that will help you. If you are new to over clocking then I suggest you read as much as you can before you start. Just remember to go slow!!!
