I dont think you should complain about people asking new qestions. Even if they are in fact the same one each person needs a cooler that fits there needs. The reason for Overclock.net is to teach people new things. Stop complaining.

I love the threads that always say I think or I wish people would stop.

Instant Fail

Just a friendly suggestion, make this in the rants section, one thing you may want to do is create a HSF guide and see if you can make it a sticky by one of the mods if you hate all those threads, may clear up a few.

Define "best," exactly.

Best to you is not best to me, oftentimes.

(And yes, I've run your precious Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme on my rig before, so I know exactly what I'm talking about.)

The Noctua NH-U12P gives it a run for its money, especially since you don't need to provide your own fan, and have a very high-quality one already provided.

I do agree that a little more research by people is in order though. Questions regarding a limited number of heatsinks or more specific questions regarding mounting are understandable, but it's not that hard to read a few cooler reviews while you're reading up on general computer hardware.

Nice, you went with the same heatsink I chose. Any particular reason why?
