Yep, I'm tired of all these benchmarks with CPU's wildly overclocked. That tells us nothing.

what i want to know if the chip is on a single die, like how cpus are..if it is, then that is killer..id like to see more single die cards instead of the two gpus on 2 dies, 2/3/4 gpus on one die...is killer..

We're a community to help with overclocking, not figure out basic box (or article in this case) reading for you.

It takes just as much effort to answer the question as it does to say "Use google newb!" We all have moments, and i think it would be a lot better if you just didn't reply unless you are going to be genuinely helpful.

But i'm getting offtopic here. i was just wondering, with this particular card, will it be modular? Imagine how easy upgrading your video capabilities would be... just socket another GPU.

Only one PCI-Express power connector? Wouldn't that need like 3?

I like the idea of this, but, adding heaps of sub standard Medium-High GPU's to one card isn't innovative, nor does it progress the company in terms of product value. They're just re-using parts without developing something that will extend its life cycle.

ATI, add 4 GPUs to one card if you like, yes it will kick ass, but, when a single GPU solution card comes out in 6 months (lets say, a G200 nVidia card) you will be stuck with something that cannot be progressed any further.

Also, single GPU cards don't need to be specifically "Optimized for Sli" or "Optimized for Crossfire". They crunch out speed in linear quantities across all applications because its raw video throughput without a catch.

Yeah. They should run them with a stock set-up to properly gauge the card. Especially with 3dmark. epeen review, lol
