You're right that it doesn't utilize SLI very efficiently at all, but it definitely runs MUCH better in DX9 mode with the Very High tweak on than DX10 with actual Very High settings and looks almost identical (minus object blur which, imo, is overdone and annoying).

Thats just my 2 cents tho, Dman.

That doesn't matter because A: The HD3850 Trinity(Or is it X3? I forget exactly, I've seen both) is Trifire on one PCB, IE, no need for CF mobo/drivers, and therefore would give you Trifire on an unsupported OS. There's a chip on the video card that manages it all, just like the 3870 X2. The OS would see it as one card, as would your drivers. B: far as I know Catalyst XP and Vista sets are identical, feature wise...and besides, Quadfire isn't utilized at all, not even by Crysis...
