[GamePro.com] Fallout 3 currently has 200 endings - Page 3

That's exactly what it is. They're going to have 12ish really different endings, and then small modifications on each of those.

EDIT: Also, 200,000 years in the future? I highly doubt that. The 50's sense of style would no longer be around and therefore the game would lose a bunch of its 'coolness'.

I wouldn't be surprised if this game turns out to be as graphically intense as Crysis. I just hope they keep the original feel of Fallout intact while incorporating some of the elements that made ESIII-IV great(modder friendly, specifically). I would love to be able to make my own fallout mods!
Yea, seriously. I don't see why people are writing this game off so soon. Sure, it does look like it could be Oblivion with guns, but the people who are decrying it haven't played it to know. And if the game is modder friendly and does turn out to be Oblivion with guns, you probably expect some group to mod it into something that DOES feel like Fallout.

What I don't understand is, how will they EVER make a sequel to a game with 200 different endings!!! haha. can you imagine opening up Fallout 4 and starting to play wondering, "she died?!!?!?!"

But they have already pretty much said what the game will be like. It will look pretty, will play like every other next gen RPG/FPS hybrid, it will have a Fallout-y storyline/feel, and it will be no Van Buren.

DO WANT. I wonder if the PC version will be be as good (or maybe better!) than the console version, because I really don't know which system to get this for yet...

I'd rather get this rather than FC2 or even Starcraft 2. Bethesda know how to make a good game
