Wii Vertically or Horizontally?

Thread Starter
Is there actually something wrong with laying the Wii horizontally? I had a friend tell me that there is a defect with Wii that cause them to have problems laying on there side, when normally the issue is in reverse and vertical standing isn't as good. I do have it out in the open so no air flow is being restricted.

I dont think it matters either way. I lay it down in living room and up and down in my room, nothing bad happens.

Thats what I thought. Because the only game console with issues is the POS Xbox 360.

Yea, Nintendo always builds their systems very well. I like mine up, but that is just my opinion. As for 360, I always have it on it's side, because tray loading drives get mess up when they are on their side(360 standing up). That is why I like the Wii and PS3 slot loading drives.

I have my 360 vertical and I can noticed the trouble with the disc tray. I would put it horizontally but I have no space for it. I have my Wii and my PS3 Horizontal though. Thanks for the input I knew what my friend was screwy because the only gaming systems Ive known to have issues were the Xbox and Xbox 360.
