Just got my q6600... couple of questions - Page 2

its going to depend on your board and your chip. look into coretemp and tell us what your VID is. that is your stock vcore needed at 2.4. the higher your vid, the less chance you will be able to get 3.6.

to me 3.0 feels about the same as 3.4

well mabye its alittle bit faster.
my Q6600 only goes to 3.4 for benchmarks and games esp crysis.

thats a nice VID. try these settings. its what i'm using for 3.4.

DDR2 OverVoltage Control: +.03v (default is 1.8v)
PCI-E OverVoltage Control [Normal]
FSB OverVoltage Control +0.2v
(G)MCH OverVoltage Control +0.2v (This is your northbridge voltage, might need +0.3 when running over 400 FSB with quad)
CPU Voltage Control 1.40v - 1.5v (it might need less then 1.40v, or it might need a bit more... only testing will tell)

put your vcore at 1.4v and see if its stable, you might need more. i have mine at 1.425v.
