From now on, I'm just going to sit back and enjoy my OS while you guys update your AV and antispyware and whatnot. If I get hacked, I'll tell you guys, and you can laugh all you like.

I don't run any of the aforementioned items, as the only reason you need any of them is if go clicking all willy-nilly around the internet. If you actually pay attention to what you download antivirus software is unnecessary.
I find it funny that in other threads you were bashing on people for backing Vista over XP or OSX. The fact is Vista is a better OS than OSX. If someone could find a viable way of running all windows software on ubuntu or another linux OS, then it would be best OS ever, but alast, there is no such OS.
I am not bashing OSX for the sake of bashing OSX. I plan on buying my fiancee a Macbook soon, as she works in the journalism field, and most of the software they use at the newspaper is Mac software. OSX is good at specific functions (ie. video editing, newspaper/magazine layout, image editing).
Most people bashing Vista, either have never touched it (and no the one time you were over at your friends house and used his crappy gateway notebook does not count), or are too cheap to spend $50 to get enough ram for it. If you are cheap, you are going to have a crappy experience. The age-old saying, You get what you pay for, still applies.
I am happy that Microsoft is ending XPs life. I like XP a lot, and it has turned into a very stable OS. But the reason it needs to go is so everyone will update their 5 yr old hardware, and move towards the future. As soon as everyone has capable hardware, we can continue to move on to the future and crank everything over to 64-bits. The reason that there is not a ton of software in 64-bit, that supports multiple-cores, is because the majority of people do not have sufficient hardware. Granted most on here do, but we only make up a small percentage of the population.
