Seagate 7200 vs WD 10000 - Page 2

what are you going to be doing that you would need a raptor? I have 2 7200s in raid 0 but i need them becuase I do video editing and need the bandwidth. About the only noticable think the raptop will have is slightly faster boot times.

I used 7200.10 seagate hard drives and also had 2x raptorx's in raid befor.....If you want the best bang for the buck its 7200 if you want really fast performace the raptors the way to go....raptor is really good to have a OS in because of its seek time good for the little files like the OS
