[Kotaku]15-Year-Old Killed For Not Passing Game - Page 10

It's a huge assumption that reaching 18 years of age suddenly ensures that you are perfectly reasonable and will always be in a sane state of mind. Mental illness is something that can affect anyone at any time.

I'm only 19 but have been playing video games since I got the Atari and Colecovision passed down to me I was never really "Sheltered" from video games... I was just taught the difference between right and wrong.
True that, future kids of america.

Murder is a planned-out crime.

If you kill someone on the spot (like a car accident), then it's manslaughter.

For someone that's usually as logical and reasonable as yourself, that's an incredibly generalized and insensitive statement. As for this post... well... I'm not even sure what to make of it.
Allow me to explain myself:

If you look at ANY school shooting, you will see that mind-altering drugs were used by the criminals. Example: Columbine shooters. The one who planned it all out was on Luvox.

Here, this is right from the top of Google search "Ritalin School Shooting."

http://www.antidepressantsfacts.com/...opic-Drugs.htm

I'm saying I won't surprised if the shooter was taking one of these drugs, after knowing this trend, that is.

I knew once I posted that I'd eventually offend someone... Please realize that I'm not saying that ALL people who use these "medications" (I do use the term loosely) are killers, but it seems that all these children who kill use these medications...

Sorry if I've offended anyone else.

You are absolutely right man... might i add that parents also have an important role when it comes to incidents like that.
So the parents are source of the most violence =>
Adam and Eve are responsible.

Yes, that's certainly the most objective website I've ever seen.

Sometimes, some medications, are involved in SOME crimes. And have you ever thought that violent impulses, or implusivity in general, is more of an effect from NOT taking prescribed medication? I know that I am certainly more irritable when I'm not taking my meds. Still not at the shooting-people-phase, of course, but then again, I've only got ADD and depression, not some more severe disorder.

Yes, indeed. He murdered, and he should get the punishment defined for that.
Just like underage drinking doesn't get you the death sentence.

I could get more personal, like how my aunt's retard of a doctor "diagnosed her with ADD." Now she's taking ritalin, and her family is falling apart.

Trust me, she was better without it. We all were.
