Has anyone said anything about the 9800GT yet?? haha. Personally I'm not impressed with it.

Until you actually play a game, then the GX2 starts to sputter and puke all over itself.

i'm going to laugh at all of the Nvidia user's upgrade thing, when 79 days pass and these cards still don't come out.

I agree the 8800GT is still holding it's own against the GTS. The upside of the GTS is the second slot cooling. 9800GTX, if I was still running the 7800GT I would pick one up in a heart beat. Yes, from where I am now it doesn't make sense, still better but not enough in my book, but 3 gens back oh yea it would be nice.

That my friend is a nice score. Best I can get in SLI is 17K. :In Scotty voice: We need better CPU cooling Captain!

Well, I picked up my second GT for $179 at BestBuy about 2 weeks back. I have sen them as low as $150 on newegg but the prices are back up it seems.

I got the HP m9300t
Quad core Intel Q9450 2.666
Nvidia 9800GT 1024MB
65nm die
GPU stock 600MHz@660MHz
Memory 900MHz@960 EFFECTIVE 1900mhz+
Shader 1.5MHz is 1.650
Not bad for OEM stock cooler
6GB DDR2 PC6400
SATA2 500 GB

Worth it if you have old card me 7800GTX
I dont know if 1 single card can do 15K on 3Dmark06 mine does max 13200 with no ocing of cpu or ram just videocard ocing.
Wonder what the cost is for a 2nd one for sli setup.

It's literally the same exact thing as the 8800GT, but with a new sticker.

Also: Old thread is old.
