I would go with the Q9450, it a quad, has the newest tech, very powerful, it's worth the extra cash over the other two you mentioned. Although the Q6600 is still pretty good, the Q9450 will overclock quite a bit higher.

If you have good cooling I'd go with the q6600 it has the 9x multi so it does have more potential.

I don't really the 8x will affect overclocking too much, a good P35 will be able to hit 500 FSB, so 500 x 8 = 4Ghz. If that concerns you, then you might consider the Q9550 .

We can't know for sure whether Q6600s clock better than the Q9450s until we see the q9450s in action. Wait for a couple of weeks for reviews to come out and then you will know.

The best value is Q6600.

dude go for the Q9450. then get a sweat board like the ASUS Striker Extreme then you wont nee to worry about the multiplier. if you want to spend a bit less then $280 on a mobo then go for the E8400 wolfdale. thety are crazy fast and can overclock to about 4.00GHz easy. just make sure that you have a decent board to go with it and some good ram Crucial Ballistix should be more then good enough.

When I first came into this thread, I thought you meant "Who's CPU Should I Buy?"

Anyways, with the grammar and spelling errors aside, the three CPU's that you listed can achieve crazy speeds, so you'll be good with any of them.

I would choose the q6600.
