INTEL C2D MAxed out FAST SPEED

Ok before I was trying like crazy for 3.5ghz and my ram would barely let me get there, And Would budge off of 1000mhz for anything.

well all of a sudden last night it felt like going to 1030mhz and I got 3.6ghz
On the same volts i was using for 3.5ghz

Cpu e6550 1.46volts @ 3.6ghz 4mb cache
Ram PC6400 2.2volts @ 1030 mhz

do you guys think I finally maxed myself out?
I'm on 515 FSB
I can Do 516 stable, But 517 its not I mean I believe it wants more cpu volts.
But I haven't played with it.

I still can't believe el Crapo Pc6400 clocks that high lol.

515 is pretty high. I don;t think there is anything left. You may be able to get a hair more with a better mobo, but it wouldn't be worth it. Running anything at 500 or higher is tough.

Maybe you could give some more voltage on your RAM? My el Crapo 6400 reaches 1066...i mean so long as you haven't maxed out the voltages on it to reach your current speed you could give it some more juice.

No that's not it.It's the Ballistix PC8500 but for some reason it shows up as PC6400.Anyway,even when i lower my memory,it still won't budge.I could post at 3.3Ghz but not stable at all.Thinking maybe my crappy cooler or maybe the chip itself as i'm already at 1.43V and anything higher requires a lot of voltage.

I dunno I can do 3.5ghz at 1.40volts stable.
Play with your memory timings.

Northbridge on mine is at 1.55volts.
ram is at 2.2volts
5-7-7-18-60

I aswell couldn't pass the 3.2ghz as well for some reason...
Check my earlier posts and maybe your find out i remember writing it down somewhere.
