I thought so too, but when I was running the app I had another program reading the temp, and as soon as I quit OCCT, the temp dropped 20C to idle at around 28C

Where should I go to get that, BIOS, or some other program?

I hate to sound like a n00b, but I am, so is that nForce SPP or nForce MCP?

MCP was running at 1.50, SPP was running at 1.45.

And it just BSODed in firefox, so I would not qualify this as stable yet.

I hate to keep having to give up ground, but after the last BSOD, it didnt want to boot, even after bumping the MCP as advised.

I might just try to rip Forsaken off wholesale, see if his voltages work for me.

I believe on your board, mcp is sb and spp is nb. Bump the spp a bit.

Also, as Links asked, what does coretemp read at idle and load.

Okay, so heres where I am. I tried all of the voltages and what not listed above, and I can succesfully boot into Vista Safe Mode, but not full Vista. As for temps, I cannot launch my diagnostic programs as I am having trouble getting into the OSes, but I know the problem is NOT temps, because the BIOS monitors are saying CPU: 38C, Board 36C, MCP 52C.

I am trying to get to some stable yet mildly overclockable state. When that happens, Rep+'s all around.

For diagnostic purposes, these are the voltages I can play with, and their current settings:
CPU Core: 1.31875
CPU FSB: 1.3
Memory: 1.9
nForce SPP: 1.45
nForce MCP: 1.65
HT nForce SPP <-> MCP [auto] 1.2
