Yeah I've heard really good things about the P5k Deluxe, so I'm still considering going that route, however I've always heard about Lan party boards, maybe it's time to try something new.....

Gotta do some more research..

The Gigabyte P35 boards overclock the Q6600 very well also. Look into those as well.

Yeah I think I will stay away from DFI, as their BIOS is likely too much for me, I haven't used a Gigabyte board in a while, is there a particular one you can recommend? that has some nice features as well.

I'm choosing between Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4 or the P5K Deluxe

I would recommend their higher end P35 board. I used the low end DS3L and had the Q6600 stable at 3.8GHz no problem, except for the fact the board heated up a little too much. I would try one with the NB and SB heatpiped, like the P35-DS3P or the P35-DS4.

I have the same cpu Q6600 GO and motherboard P5n32esli . Mine runs perfectly at 3 gig unlinked 1334 800 memory . I just cant get it to 3.4. Im using corsair 800 ram stock. Would love to have some insight into your settings. I have set up an Abit p5k that runs at 3.4 stabily . Im stuck with this one though

The 650i chipset is not really that good for OCing Quads, but it can be done.
Just be sure you have a really good airflow(or some better NB+mosfet cooling), and up the voltage to the Nb up to 1.4 or so.
Also, this NB is known to have FSB holes, so don't be dissapointed if it doesn't work @ 1332, it might work with 1337....
