If you have done all the steps listed above and you are still having problems, than you should try to swap your video card with another video card and test it like that.

1.Re-install
2. Have you tried to over-clock your GPU any time? That could be why its given you artefacts.

Agreed! I had to hunt down and peice a new UI together myself when 2.4 came out.

P.S. - Those look like some nasty artifacts. Go to software forums and find a link to download 'driver cleaner' (or something of that sort). Then go and download the newest drivers for your GPU. THEN...use driver cleaner...restart...use it again...restart...and then install the new driver.

If that doesn't work, and it's not overheating...I have no idea.

The fact that it only occurs after extended periods of use reinforces my belief that the GPU is overheating and producing artifacts. Are you sure that the GPU temperature monitoring program you are using is accurate?

EDIT: Also, contrary to popular belief WoW stresses the HELL out of your computer. I have run orthos stable for 2+ hours only to have WoW crash it in 15 minutes.
I'm with him on this. Also, if you haven't yet, update your video drivers.

Try the latest beta drivers as well, and check the WoW tech support forums for people with similar issues.
