Need laptop up to $1200

Thread Starter
Alright guys I am wanting to purchase a laptop as well as a PC(I will discuss that in a different thread). It should meet the following criteria.

1. Its shouldn't be a Sony~I just hate Sony
2. It should fall under the price range specified in the thread name
3. It strictly for work/study so not for doing to much memory intensive work(like gaming, just for playing elastomania )
4. It should come with xp(not vista)
5. Space isn't really an issue.
6. Brand New(not used or refurbished)
7. Screen size is not an issue.

Thanks input would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing wrong with Vista. I have it and it works like a charm.

What state are you from?

You fine with ASUS? Theyre sellin some really good gaming laptops as well. Check out their G1S or G2S.

Or check out Toshiba's X200. If you cud go upto 1500, they have an SLi laptop available for 1499.

Dude you don't read I just want it to play elastomania not games like Crysis or Cod4.Its mainly for doing work/homework. Those would rip a hole through my wallet. I want a budget laptop just do to work, but it has to be value for money.
