Why not overclock your core and mem? And what program are you using to oc the shader? I thought the only way to do it was with the core oc

If you're using Riva Tuner for OC it can automaticaly detect your core, memory and shader max clock, tho i dont know how accurate it is... Try unlinking core and shader sliders and go in small increments, ofc artifact test it in AtiTool. Hope this helped.

ATI-TOOL doesn't work with Vista i'm using Rivatuner v.2.08.

Assuming you're stable and your temps are okay you can push the shader as far as you want. The core clocks will have the largest effects on your performance though =/
