QX6700 stock cooler OC

Hi,

I've got my QX6700 oc'd to 2.93 ghz with my stock cooler.

My temps in windows are between 40 - 47.
When playing a game (Halo 2 for example) the temps go from 50 to 60.

Are those temps reasonable or are the way to hot?

I'm using everest to monitor my temps.

Maybe a silly question but do i need to monitor each CPU core and see that its temps arent high or is it ok to just monitor the CPU for normal temps?

When i check each CPU core, the temps are around 55 - 60 just in windows.

OK?

Check the picture.

60 is OK. Did you test for stability though using orthos/prime95? Those programs will probably give you higher temps but those aren't temps you are likely to achieve in real life situations I.E. gaming. But you still need to run one of them to test for stability.
