Concerning G0 Q6600 Temps.

Thread Starter
After many hours I have finally fixed my 780i motherboard and everything is now in

But what concerns me is that my Q6600 temperatures have shot up and I now Idle at 40 degrees per core on 2 of the cores!

And 32-35 degrees on ther other 2 cores??

It cant be a badly seated because i've done it a couple of times already.

Any ideas why this might be?

The variance is normal. Don't worry too much. But you're idling that hot on stock?

That seems high for a turniq tower.
Are you using AS5?
Also did you put enough paste on the GO?
Try to give it alittle giggle sometimes that will even out the temps.
