The computer finally got a name!!! I am calling it PROMETHEUS.

He who bears the first flint of fire to mankind, and he who suffers the torments of guts being torn apart. Prometheus, the predecessor of the dream machine and the media server, and the first to light the fire of my 28" Hanss-G!

Toast for Prometheus!!! woohoo~~~~ :

I received my first shipment today. Around 6PM, the PSU, mobo and Bose speakers showed up at my door.

I wasn't expecting the Bose at all but my friend went ahead and made the order even though I suggested to replace them with the Logitech model.

O well... what a surprise -- they are the same price (free )for me anyway. The speakers are NICE. I know Bose is way over priced but hey... they are nice~~~ The audio is warmer than I thought. Fairly good bass effect and the low tone is clear and powerful enough for my room size. The depth of the sound is well defined even without surround. It is really top-of-the-line 2.0 regardless of its bottom-of-the-line pricing.

As for the PSU, I was totally in awe of its beauty. The smooth finish on the surface reflects the slender image of its delicately mash-wrapped power cords. I have never seen a power supply so handsome.

I studied the mobo for about half an hour. The design is perfect for my parts (THANKS, Chozart!). I already put it in the empty Cooler Master case in order to further admire its majestic form.

Prometheus is slowing gaining his fresh and blood. I think I'll go mad if I don't control my overwhelming imagination....

UPS guys ruined my weekend. I only received 2 packages on Friday for the PSU and RAM, the major shipment is lost in action. After several fruitless telephone communication, at 10:00PM Friday night, the UPS customer center finally told me that even though the package is showing "out for delivery" in the tracking page, it will still be put off until Monday because the driver has driven it back to their lot
and they are not working during weekend.

I was ultimately pissed. There's nothing else I can do aside from being a bit more patient. I set up the PSU and cleaned up the cases.

This is how the old P4 setting looks like

The PSU cords are quite long which suits the full tower case pretty well.

I understand your anxiety about the missing parts

Hope they'll show on Monday
