a long time ago, gameshark put out a
a device for the playstation 1 not the slim line.
it was a game shark that had the ability
to hack your own codes.
it came with a built in hex editor.

does any one remember what it was called?

i used one from a friend and hacked out codes for
X-COM ufo defence but that was years ago.
my new system.
