They delayed it didnt they.
To the starter of the thread:
If you had your heart set on the 9 series then I would go for the GX2, just see what the prices are like in relation to each other, I dont think there is a big performance gap.
But SLi 8800GTX is a great option.

Actually theres two versions of 9800 GTX one with 512 MB VRAM 512-bit the other with 1 GB VRAM 512-Bit. But no matter what I would still go for the 9800GX2.

Hehe yep...

With regards to the 9800GTX, Nvidia have done well, it scales incredibly well in SLi, now they need to work on triple SLi, if they can get triple Sli to scale like 2 cards......:O
