step up to dual 9800GX2s? - Page 3

I would say go for a single step up for one of the cards to GX2, and sell the other card , even if money is no issue. If the next card is very much different from the current gen ( not that I know ) , you will yet again have to go through the hassle of buying stuff again. You can always buy a GX2 later... if the next cards arent that good.

do it, you wont regret it. once the new drivers some out hopefully... i'm not gona lie, one 9800GX2 is fine its two in sli i start crashing.

Edit: plus our rigs will be alot alike.

i'm not sure if your psu will be up to two of them though. i'm not sure mine is, some times it just shuts off and it really looks like it might be a power issue.
