Really good to see the results. Now that you've added pics it really hits home.....Looks a lot like my rig- with the Zalman9700 and everything. Temps and voltages look significantly lower than the X38, which is what I suspected would happen. I'm willing to bet they'll push further and more reliably into the 500++fsb if you can find a CPU that will do it.

It´s a good board but not more than that, I had a ASUS Blitz Formula SE and the different isn´t that big. Maybe it´s better with quad but I doubt it, cause you still can´t adjust "CPU GTL Voltage Reference" on each core, thou it´s not a bad OC on quad.

Then it looks like you get a bit to high MCH Read Delay (tRD), (Performance Level) by default.

The thing I like best is that you can decide what Performance Level (PL) you want to use instead of "Ai Transaction Booster" Relax or Boost Level.

When you bring up the NBvolt, because you want to get as low PL as possible, NB gets to hot with the original heatsink that´s why run water to mine, even thou I run 1,71 it stays below 30 under full load.

Good luck ...Still running strong @ 3.4 I have not had much time as of late for going past 3.6...Plus summer is here and room temps are up to 26c to 28c so I would need to go WC.

I can really recommend to go with WC, it brings down temp not only on the parts that you ad it to but also your case temp gets lower.

The biggest temp different I noticed was on both VGA and NB (not on CPU coz I use to run with TRUE). On my Striker Extreme I had a temp on the NB, above 70 with air and with water below 50 even thou I had two 8800GTX in the same loop.

The different with temp under stress when I run a single 8800GTX in the loop compare with air is this, air slightly above 80, water never above 45, with SLI and water never above 50.

On my Rampage I don´t now what temp on the NB with air coz I took away the original heatpipe and went for water before I started it for the first time.

When I stress my system (as in my sig) with ATI Tool (show 3D view) and Prime95 (Blend test) I get VGA temp 43-45, NB 25-28 (NBvolt 1,51) and CPU, well at 3,6 it´s hard to tell as it´s a E8400, I presume it runs pretty cool.
My ambient roomtemp is usaully around 20, the temp above my 200mm fan in top of the case is around ~26 and water temp before the radiator is ~32.

I got a tripple radiator with 6 Zalman 120mm@5v in push pull, Asetek extreme pump, Zalman ZM-WB4 Gold for CPU, ZM-GWB8800 Ultra/GTX for VGA and Koolance CHC-120 for NB.

I´ll be back and hopefully we can have this thread alive for us Rampage guys.

Yes good to see this thread still around. I've gotten my rig stable at 3.9GHz with decent temps, although they are creeping up with summer on it's way. I can't seem to hit 4GHz stable though at an acceptable temperature range. Might have to get a bigger radiator and take the GPU out of the loop to lower the temps at the voltage I need. Ran 3DMark Vantage at 4.0GHz fine though, but Prime95 is another story. I get a good bit of Vdroop at these high clocks. Anyone else experiencing that?

What voltage are you running for 3.9GHz? I have a Maximus Extreme and a Q6700 with a 1.225v VID. It will go to 3.8GHz with 1.44v vcore, but I dont know if the ME is holding me back. I was thinking about getting a Rampage.

What part of the board OCing do you thing is holding you back from 4.0GHz?
