Overclocking my Q6600 on a DS3R

been fettling with my quad, i have had it running at 3ghz since christmas completely stable but im curious as to how more i can get from it as its a B3.

i tried today and i managed 3.2ghz, it ran small fft's on orthos for over an hour without an error on the following settings.

9x355 @ 1.375vcore

i thought great so done a OC on my 8800GT and ran 3dmark06.

all finished but as i was checking my score i got a BSOD, can i get a BSOD for OC'ing the gfx card to much and if so wouldn't it do it during 3dmark?

the memory was running at 1000mhz @ 4-4-4-10, which it has ran at since christmas so i dont think its the memory causin problems.

what sort of voltage are people needing for 3.2-3.4ghz on this board with a B3?

thanks

There are more then just the vcore voltages that need increased.

At 355 FSB, you might try adding +0.1v to your G(MCH) Overvoltage control. The quads need more northbridge voltage to run OC'ed FSB.

Also, are you sure your ram is running at 1000? When you increased your FSB, you also OCed your ram higher. What does CPU-Z show for memory speed in the memory tab.
