Best cooling solution

Thread Starter
I am trying to compile a list of a "Budgetless Gaming Rig" and I need a CPU cooling solution that is the best performance. Could someone please make a list of all the parts for me? I don't care if it is air, MTEC (e.g. CoolIT Freezone Elite), or water (a list of waterblocks, rad(s), pump(s), fans, tubing, the whole shabang). The list will have a QX9775 with 2x 9800GX2 and I would like it watercooled as much as possible. It will all be in a SwordM case. Thanks for the help.

FYI: This is just a list, I can't actually build the system.

LOL...don't we all wish we could build a system like that

I guess some people can

BUMP for you!

If you are truly budgetless, a Skulltrail mobo and two of your C2E's will definately help. Also, go LN2. 3 large/day isn't cheap, lol.

I would go with water for this one.

CPU: D-Tek FuZion 775 with the quad nozzle
GPU: Not too sure as of right now
Pump: Swiftech MCP655 (D5 Vario)
Radiator: HW Labs Black Ice GTX480 with some Panaflos, Yate-Loons, or whatever

Do you want the mobo cooled?

You could go TEC or LN2 though lol

It would be nice to WC the mobo NB/SB/MOSFETs, just that I don't know how it works for the 790i. Also, I don't want LN2 because I want it for "everyday use". Would TEC cool better, though?
You don't even want to mess with TEC till you have WC'ed a while, to many things can go wrong setting both up at once...I'd do a CPU only loop and stick the rest on its own loop...Usually you can get by with good HSF's on the mobo and just WC the CPU and GPU...Read all the stickies here and look around a little before you start buying parts and it may save you some $$$....
