why are 800Mhz ocz ram running at 800mhz?

voltage is stock

timings are stock
5, 5, 5, 15

BIOS set it to 800Mhz

cpuz ses its at 400Mhz?

Dont worry that is normal. Since these ram are DDR2(double data rate) they run at an effective speed of 800MHz or 400MHz x2. CPU-z is reading it correctly.

Yup, old SDRAM only transferred data on the rise of the clock signal. DDR and DDR2 memory transfer data on the rise and fall of the clock signal. So DDR and DDR2 memory will transfer twice as much data as SDRAM operating at the same frequency. To market this improvement, DDR and DDR2 are advertised at twice the frequency that they actually run at. So DDR running at 200MHz is DDR 400, and DDR2 running at 400MHz is DDR2 800.
