Will a high end Dual Rad or single rad ....

Thread Starter
Hey guys wanting to know if a top end single or dual rad with a good pump block etc... will allow me to extreme OC?? The reason i ask is that i currently have my Kandalf LCS with an upgraded pump and saphire block.... the system seems to do well at good 4.0ghz OC but when i try to bump to higher voltages such as 1.5 etc the temps are off the charts. So will a complete revamp cooling system take care of this?? Dual or single rad high end pump block etc>??

Thanks guys!!

Your processor dumps too much heat for even a double radiator...try a triple or above to get adequate heat removal.

Part of it could also be the kandalf has small diameter tubing. I would recommend a completer overhaul with 1/2" id tubing. triple radiator could work but the bigger the better (but is sometimes overkill) Also, having a non drivebay pump is usually more powerful.

FrozenCPU likes to add sub-par Koolance products to top-of-the-line Lian Li cases and overcharge for them. If you like the case, fine. You can find it elsewhere for much cheaper, and then stick higher quality water components into it.

If you want a kit one of these will make a decent starter package..Fuzion Kit..Get the 320 rad option and the higher cfm fans...Its a compromise but its decent and will give you decent CPU only loop temp's...

I have no idea what kind of temp's to expect with it or what kind of OC's you can get, there are to many variables involved...Your chip might be topped out with what you have now, who knows....

ruh roh, do not use koolance. build a custom setup and you'll get some nice temps/OCs
