Because the two fans on the rad are at full speed & they are doing my head right in
I think there is an ESA sofware available at Nvidia's website for the Aqaugate Max, so you can monitor your temps and control the fans..

Btw, how are you temps with your Aquagate Max?

+rep for a good setup!!

I have never used that program but thinking about giving it a try. I thought you needed a 4 pin wire to control the fan. All my fans connecting to the MB are 3 pin. I havent found a fan controller I liked for the Cosmos yet. I like the Kaze Master http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811998038 but it will not let my door close. I dont know why that is a big deal since my door is always open unless its off but still would drive me crazy hehehe.

The yellow wire on your fan is the one that reports RPM to the MB. Red is 12v and black is ground. Some fans have 4 wires because they have LED's that require a 5v connection..... As long as you aren't using a molex to power them you can use that program just fine.....

I got this one here from NewEgg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811998050
It works perfectly for me, AND let's my door shut. I got it just for that reason There is a downside however.....It won't turn fans off, just down a bunch. For example: 1900 rpm MAX and around 900 on Low.....just enough to quiet them down.

EDIT: Oh yeah, You will have to put it in the lowest slot, due to the fact that it's the only one that you can put a screw through to the controller. If you open your door, you will see what I mean. Kind of a pain, but it's no fault of Xion. Just an oversight at CoolerMaster. If the darn thing was long enough to take advantage of the Cosmos' tooless system it wouldn't be a big deal.

I know what you mean I love the looks of the Kaze Master and since I am in the middle of a mod I am racking my brain as how to incorporate it into the build and still have a fully functioning door. I will figure out something even if it kills me.

I have the Kaze master controller, I love mine! Looks good, and works very good, you can also use 4pin fans on it!
If you want to see it, push my cosmos s build log in sig, there is some pics of it there

I downloaded the ESA software, & I've adjusted the fans.
But now I've got a high pitched noise coming from the fans I can't win!!
I think I'm going to have to change them, which fans would you say to get?
