Ok lol i downloaded occt and have no clue what to do. I just click on and leave it?
Im not gunna be able to run it now cus im soo tired. Here are some pics of it and the temps and what not. Just so u can tell me if its safe to oc when u see what temps it gets to on load.
These temps seem kinda high for just 5 minutes but is 92% like typical? Would that be the equivelant of running crysis? Or is it more?

In your last post you 2nd core seems a bit hotter, can you show the 2nd cores log as well? I would stay under 60C at all times.

Keep in mind that Occt is a quick way of testing your OC, if you want too be sure it's 100% stable you need to use Orthos on all your cores for a long time (most official overclock logs require you to run orthos for 24hours without errors).

The temps you get with Orthos (second option, "maxed heat") are the highest you will ever get, so I would stick with those. I don't think Crysis will even use 100% CPU (maybe in peeks), but it could be possible; better safe then sorry.

EDIT: And your VCore seems high (1.4v), but I'm no ATI expert, so maybe ask/search around for that

A modest OC for your chip? 200MHz over stock is modest.

Can you expect more? Impossible to say definitively.

The only guarantee in overclocking is that, uh, er, there are no guarantees.

How do you learn how to do it "properly" (i.e., through working in the BIOS)? By first reading as much as possible on the subject. Knowledge breeds confidence, and confidence breeds success.

Gunzkevin, make sure also when your running Orthos to choose the "blend test". Make sure the priority is set to 9. I typically run my Orthos tests for 18hrs. That is probably overkill. A good 5-6hrs is sufficient at priority 9.

In regards to your fan question, have tried running a different fan to see if the problem reproduces itself? (sorry if that question was already asked)

Good luck

OCCT is fine, albeit for "spot-checking" your system's stability. I use it on the way to higher OCs, not as the final stability check.

On the other hand, I'm crazy for stability.

Gunzkevin, is the pin layout on your board for your CPU Fan a 3pin? I'll send you a couple of 80mm fans if you want. They obviously won't fit your stock cooler but you can use them for testing purposes. PM me your address.

Good luck
