Athlon 5000+ Black 3dMark06 score

Thread Starter
Heya, just wonder if I am about where I should be on 3dmark. After overclocking, I'm getting about 10500, was around 7800 before I started tweaking the system. I think I've squeezed about as much out of the BE as I can get without a big voltage increase (can't get it stable past 3.12 @1.35 volts) Anyway, let me know if I'm about where I should be, or if there is something else I am missing overclocking that would help improve the score. Thanks!

Oh, and dont be a baby, up the volts to like 1.4v and try a higher core - i run my 4400+ @1.475v, but try 1.4v first then a lil higher, you may need to up your HT Link voltage a tad, and your northbridge voltage a lil

Yeah, but I believe your x2 4400 has 1mb L2 cache per core while his chip has only has 512kb L2 cache per core. I don't he has an OC'ed GPU either. When I was running my OC'ed 5000 be chip at 3.1 with two (g80) gts's both OC'ed I got around 11600.
edit: I didn't see you had a brisbane so 512kb per core HauntSheep.

Yep.... I had to push the vcore to over 1.4V on mine to make much headway above 3.1.

AMD cpu's dont really rely on cache size but on cpu clock.. Your score seems OK to me, it's just because your 8800gt isnt oc'ed and Hauntsheep's 8800gt is.
