I have been using it nfor quite sometime with no problems.crysis, bioshock half life 2,ep1,ep2,and portal have gained 10 to 15 percent in FPS,Also the quaility of the rendering is very sharp and brings out alot of nice candy.Loading screens are also faster then DX9c.
Anyhow here is a rapidshare link for DX10 4XP. Vista's DX10 might a little better then this version for XP but thats ok cause vista b**os for gaming + Vista deos not allow for many of it's major cpu usage and ram hogging processes to be stopped as it seems that M$ felt that they needed to have 20 differnent processes all connected to each other! . My gaming OS is a gutted out XP Pro with an install size of 259MB! and a commit charge of only 87MB at idle and somewhere between 350 and 500 when running Doom 3 at 1600x1200on ultra which make my radeon hd2600 pro 512mb agp card wanna do backflips .

So ehm, virus inside?
Or a useless version that doesnt run any game whatsoever?
I don't have XP anymore, but even if I did, I wouldn't dare even unpacking that >.<

Maybe someone can set up a Virtual PC session and try it out? Not sure if Viruses manage to escape from a Virtual session or not.

Also, if you want DX10, buy Vista. Stop crying about an outdated OS not supporting the latest technology waaa waaa waaa
