question on my new creative sound card

Thread Starter
I bought and installed this card into my computer.
http://us.creative.com/products/prod...&product=15853

I'm running vista 64 bit. Is anybody running this card with vista on here? The instruction show how I can adjust everything, bass, where the speakers are located and so on. And it shows the fancy window tabs for the solft where. I can't do any of this. All I can do is tell it what mode I want, like game mode or audio mode and I can adjust the 3d sound, and surround that's it. It The window tabs just have writing in them, not the fancy looking tabs that the instruction show. There is no volume control in the sound blaster soft where either. I have to use the vista volume control. What is up with this? Any info would be great.

On my old computer I have a sound blaster and I can adjust everything and the card and computer is 4 years old.

Thanks

Irony.. Join the club.. you'll need the "banned" drivers to do what creative says you can do.

Thread happening right now:

Perfect example on why people are mad, its been like this for a year. Honestly, i'd just return the thing and get a card from a different company that actually supports vista like most people are doing.
