OFF-TOPIC: It their really a point to gddr4 if gddr3 can hit these kinds of speeds?

I mean, yea gddr4 can technically clock higher, but i have yet to see some 3000mhz gddr4 or so (just throwing a random number out there, i have no clue if gddr4 can clock that high) Any links?

ON-TOPIC: it does seem like a good card, but i already bought an 8800gt, so i don't think i'm gonna pay a premium to have an overclocked version of the same card i bought...

I did hear from somewhere that the 9900 series will be based off of the new whatever and blah blah blah
