3dmark SLI setting in NVIDIA CP

Thread Starter
I was going through my 3D settings in the Nvidia control panel trying to figure out why my 3dmark scores were low, and I noticed that it was set up for a single GPU, however I want SLI to run during 3dmark, is this setting correct? If not what should I put as the preferance.

You should keep it on Single GPU then the driver will automatically use the best mode for that game/application.

If you force a mode it will likely lead to bad frames and/or BSODing and crashing.

Also you should get the new 174.74 betas, as they have a better SLI options in the CP.

You are lucky. Have you actually tried doing performance comparisons in 5+ games between 'single-gpu' and forcing AF2? I'm pretty sure single-gpu would result in better frames in most cases, atleast it does for me.
