so which one of those sizes would fit the closes?

for example, one option is 2.5"
what is it talking about? the height, width, length?

so ur saying to run both at the same time right?
can i clean the whole HD? the olf 30gb one?
i think it has some old bs on it

you can use winrar to compress the files and quick par them so that if any get corrupted the quick par will repiar it
use the trial version of nero to make a data cd/dvd

2.5" is for notebook harddrives, 3.5" is mostly used for desktops

Could you quote posts when you refer to them please? Its rather confusing

Anyhow yeah you can run both HDDs at the same time, and format the HDD then load em up!

dont worry too much about whether or not it will mount up. just set it in the hd cage while you are using it. dont even worry about mounting it.

BUT...if you are going to use a laptop hd, the data connection (ide connector and power connection) is different than a standard 3.5" hd. you can get a cheap adapter though...

lol sry, but yea you answered my question, how would i format it?
this is a pc HD btw, sorry for not mentioning this before, (a really old pc)

thanks for the case specs
and its a pc HD, didnt mention that before, my bad

what if i just wrap up the HD in electrical tape? lol
instead of getting the enclosure? and just find an IDE to USB cable (if that exists)

i need a new dvd drive too :[
just broke on me lol, AHH newegg is awesome, so cheap
