My vote is for the first settings. Lower voltages are always better on the hardware. They'll last longer.
ah, I think i read it a little wrong, I thought he said "Sadly for you" which would have clearly made him look like a dink, but he said me, which changes things

sorry man

It's all good. I know that it happens to the best of us.

But they dont call this overclock.net for nothing. Go for the second setting and tinker with fan configs in your case and you can also zip tie a second fan on the back on your ac7 for a push pull set up.
And then

Dah, I'm too late to edit. But I want to add:

...And that thing that happens to the best of us is that ugly little thing inside of us we can't get rid of called "Pride". It constantly lies to us telling us stupid things that we tend to believe a lot easier than the truth. This is why we say "the truth hurts", because it hurts the pride.

Hmm, I'm really rambling. lol

I still think you need to reseat your heatsink though man, 58 degrees Celsius is 136.4 degrees Fahrenheit, which is 56.4 degrees over your ambient, which to me seems like a little bit on an extreme rise in temps considering your using an Arctic Freezer 7...

Thread Starter
Sadly, my mobo doesn't like the Arctic Freezer 7 and the NB heatsink gets in the way of it blowing in a front to back direction. I am actually blowing a bottom top config where the top is blowing up into the intake of the PSU. Not the best idea, but I did what I could to get it on. It reduced the temps from >70 on ORTHOS and unrunnable to 45 so I wont complain

Temperature readings + Brisbane = EPIC FAIL.

I'm idling at 0C right now lol...riiiight.

I use my motherboards built in temperature reading program though, and It seems pretty accurate to me....

even if its not right, I have never BSOD'ed or had any stability issues so who cares? lol, I wont be keeping this proc for more than a year anyway
