Want to go with 4 gigs

Thread Starter
But not positive which way to go.

I know 2x2 gigs is the better way, but it costs more.

I am trying to decide if I should ust get 2 more gigs of what I already have (the red G. Skills) or go with the 2x2 of A-Data that is on sale with rebate on the egg.

I know neither are high end memory, but I have had good luck with the G. Skill, and for only $35 to upgrade, it is an awsome deal (they were $125 when I got them). I played with 4 sticks for a bit (2 g. skill and 2 OCZ gold) with moderate results (about 2.5 ghz), and I think with 4 of the same, I could probably keep my system @ about 2.7 ghz, which will work for me.
I have no idea how good the A-Data is, but the Newegg reviews seem to speak well of it (but I know you can't always go by them). They are $50 afterthe rebate.

And yes, I plan on going to Vista 64 this week.

I can tell you from personal experience that those A-DATA 4GB kit will hit 4-4-4-12@ 800mhz. I think they will even hit a little higher but I never OC'd them higher. I know at CL5 they'll hit almost 1000mhz. Which isn't bad considering it's still considered Value RAM.
